Baumgartner landed safely on Sunday night after the jump was postponed several times due to adverse weather conditions such a bold plan.

Austrian, Felix Baumgartner 43-year-old plunged from a helium balloon from an altitude of 39,043 meters and landed safely in the desert, in the U.S. state of New Mexico.

The jumping daredevil extreme passion started from home with a record – freefall jump from the highest altitude at which venture would never beat anyone. Without being in an aircraft, Baumgartner exceeded the speed of sound, reaching 1.342 km / h, and broke the world record in free fall parachute jump, successful precedent dating from 1960 and belonging to a former U.S. Colonel Joe Kittinger . read more

Inclusion London was founded in October 2008, following a detailed process of consultation with Deaf and disabled people in London. The consultation recognised that at that time there was no single organisation able to provide services at a London-wide level for London’s disabled and Deaf people’s groups.

Seventy organisations attended and those present identified strategic policy and capacity building support as priorities for disability groups in London. On this day 11 years ago in America the twin towers were struck I would like to commemorate  the victims and offer my deepest condolences and obviously Mark the event in history on my website.

President Barack Obama has marked the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, saying the US emerged “even stronger” from that day’s death and horror.

In New York, relatives are reading out the names of those killed when hijacked jets were crashed at the World Trade Center, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Mr Obama laid a wreath at the Pentagon and Vice-President Joe Biden is expected to speak at Shanksville. read more

Avalanche: Two More British Victims Named

 The Foreign Office names two more Britons who died in an avalanche as survivors talk of the tragedy ahead of a memorial service.

Two more Britons killed in an avalanche in the French Alps have been named by the Foreign Office.

John Taylor and Steve Barber were from the village of Upper Poppleton, York, and were raising money for nearby St Leonard’s Hospice in exchange to  reach the summit of Mont Blanc.

Oldham Gas Blast

In Oldham today there was a burst gas pipe which damage one house.

People from the local area say that at least another two houses are damaged in the blast.

One person has been admitted to hospital and it has been announced that one boy has died at the moment there are still two people missing. There is a rescue centre in the local area because local residents as you can imagine cannot return to their houses to analyse the damage and till the rescue operation has been completed.
