George Michael Legend Fans Want Permission To Remember Him in a Special Way
Outspoken George Michael legend was not shy when it came to his sexual conquests, and some of his loyal fans want to honour him in a surprising way.
The tragic star, who died on Christmas Day, could be set to get a special bench placed in Hampstead Heath, where he would often meet sexual partners for X-rated fun.
Over 700 fans have signed a petition so that they can remember the Freedom singer in this special way, according to the Daily Star.
Despite some fans thinking the idea is crude, others have claimed that because George took the ‘Michael’ out of his sexual escapades – like when he appeared on Ricky Gervais’ Extras in 2009.
It’s exactly where he appeared in the BBC show that fans wanted the bench erected.
In the clip the tragic star made a joke at his own expense about heading off for some casual sex in the bushes.
Petition organiser Tony Antoniou said: “He loved that park so much. It’s the least they can do. I’m sure his family will love it too.”
George once spoke about how he got his x-rated kicks, as he once said: “I’ll do it on a nice summer evening.
“It’s a much nicer place to get some quick and honest sex than standing in a bar.”
