Potential Tube Strikes

The strike by the RMT, TSSA and Unite unions that was set to disrupt Tube services has been suspended, London Underground (LU) has confirmed.

But London Underground services are still set to be disrupted on September 8 and 10 next month if a new deal is not made for workers ahead of the Night Tube launch, the RMT said.

The army have discovered a bomb at Wembley Stadium builders uncover a bomb from 1940.

The bomb disposal experts have been drafted in to defuse an undetonated World War Two bomb near Wembley Stadium which they have said poses “a genuine risk to life”.

The 50kg explosive, which is thought to have been dropped during Nazi bombing raids in the early 1940s.

A man has died after a shooting inside a nightclub in London’s West End, according to Scotland Yard.

Police have arrested one man on suspicion of murder and are currently holding him at a police station in south London.

London Bus Crash – 32 Passengers Injured

A bus has crashed into a tree in south London, injuring 32 passengers, seven of them seriously, say police.

The accident happened around 10.50am on Kennington Road near the Imperial War Museum, while the number 59 bus was en route to King’s Cross.

Emergency services said several passengers had to be freed from the wreckage.
