UK and France Abandon ‘One In, One Out’ Migrant Crossing Scheme
The controversial UK-France pilot program designed to reduce migrant crossings in small boats across the English Channel has officially been discontinued. Known as the “one in, one out” arrangement, the scheme sought to curb the rising tide of irregular migration by linking the number of migrants entering the UK with those returned to France.
