Chloe Watson Dransfield, from Gomersal, Leeds, succumbed to her injuries at a hospital after being discovered with stab wounds early Saturday morning near Austhorpe. Emergency services found her unconscious on the street shortly before 6 a.m.

West Yorkshire Police responded swiftly to reports on March 28 at an address on Kennerleigh Avenue, where Chloe was initially found unresponsive. Their investigation has since led to the arrest of a 14-year-old boy, who remains in custody as authorities continue to piece together the events leading to her death.
Multiple Teenagers Now Charged in Connection with Chloe’s Murder
In addition to the recent arrest, three other teenagers face formal charges related to Chloe’s murder: Kayla Smith, 18, Archie Rycroft, 19, and a 17-year-old male whose identity remains protected due to age restrictions.
All three appeared via videolink at Leeds Crown Court during a brief hearing on Thursday. Smith and Rycroft joined from separate prisons, while the 17-year-old participated from a secure accommodation facility. They confirmed their identities but did not enter pleas or request bail during the 12-minute session.

Trial Scheduled for November Amid Ongoing Legal Proceedings
The court has provisionally set a two-week trial date for November 10, though Judge Guy Kearl KC, the Recorder of Leeds, emphasized this schedule could change. All defendants remain in custody as the legal process unfolds.
