Escalating Strait of Hormuz Crisis Demands Global Unity, Warns Malpass
David Malpass highlighted the critical situation surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, condemning any attempts to block this vital maritime route. “You can’t have a rogue state with plutonium, and you can’t block the Strait of Hormuz,” Malpass warned, calling for international solidarity behind the United States to resolve the escalating tensions.
Malpass expressed hope that China would play a constructive role in breaking the deadlock. “China benefits from open waterways worldwide.
