Klaudia Zakrzewska, a 32-year-old social media influencer known as Klaudiaglam, tragically lost her life after being struck by a car in the heart of London’s Soho district. The fatal incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday on Argyll Street, sending shockwaves through the community and her extensive online following.
Fatal Collision in Soho: Details of the Incident
Zakrzewska, who hailed from Essex and commanded over 270,000 Instagram followers, was immediately rushed to hospital following the collision. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries earlier today.
The driver involved, Gabrielle Carrington, 29, a former X Factor contestant from Manchester, now a social media personality with more than 360,000 Instagram followers under the handle RielleUK, faces severe legal repercussions. Carrington was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving.

Legal Proceedings Underway
Carrington appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 21, and was remanded in custody. She is scheduled to return to court at the Old Bailey on May 19. Following Zakrzewska’s death, the charge of attempted murder will be escalated to murder.
During her court appearance, Carrington made a heart gesture towards supporters in the gallery as she was led back to custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, leading the investigation, expressed profound condolences to Zakrzewska’s family and friends. She emphasized the importance of respecting the ongoing investigation by urging the public to avoid speculation and refrain from sharing graphic footage related to the incident.
“The circulation of such material not only disrespects Klaudia’s loved ones but could also jeopardize the integrity of our investigation and future court proceedings,” DCI Foxwell stated.
