Details of the Fatal Collision
Emergency services responded swiftly after receiving reports of a collision between a Volkswagen Touareg and a pedestrian on Rose Tree Avenue in the Cudworth area of Barnsley at approximately 4:55 p.m. last Friday. Despite immediate medical attention, South Yorkshire Police confirmed that Liam Green died at the scene.

Ongoing Murder Investigation: Multiple Arrests
Police have now detained five individuals on suspicion of murder. The latest arrest occurred on Sunday, when a 53-year-old man was taken into custody. He joins a 60-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman arrested on Friday. Meanwhile, a 33-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, previously arrested on Saturday, have been released on bail.
