A man faces charges of arson with intent to endanger life following a devastating fire that engulfed Pink Punters, a prominent LGBT+ nightclub in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The fire erupted around 2 a.m. on Sunday, prompting swift evacuation efforts by venue staff and emergency services.
Reports flooded in as roaring flames tore through the club’s roof, captured on social media showing the intense blaze. Staff evacuated a large crowd of clubbers and residents from the Watling Street vicinity, ensuring everyone’s safety amid the chaos.

Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue teams remain actively engaged at the scene, where road closures are in effect. Authorities arrested a 51-year-old Milton Keynes man on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life; he remains in police custody.
Chief Superintendent Emma Baillie, Milton Keynes commander, emphasized the scale of the incident: “This was a significant fire requiring the rapid evacuation of a large number of people. Thankfully, no injuries were reported thanks to the swift and effective actions of the venue staff.”
