Fatal Assault Rocks Bournemouth Nightlife
Three men now face murder suspicions after a violent attack claimed the life of a man outside a popular Bournemouth bar in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police rushed to MyBar on Charminster Road at approximately 3 a.m. following reports of a serious assault. Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 40s, hailing from Christchurch, who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspects in Custody
Dorset Police swiftly arrested two men aged 37 and 46 from Bournemouth, along with a 34-year-old man from Poole, all detained on suspicion of murder as the investigation intensifies.
Investigation Underway
Detective Chief Inspector Nicky Jenkins expressed deep condolences to the victim’s family and emphasized the thorough nature of the ongoing inquiry.
“An extensive cordon surrounds the area to preserve vital evidence. We appreciate the public’s patience during this critical phase,” Jenkins stated.
She urged witnesses who were near the scene at the time to come forward. “We believe several people observed the incident and their testimonies could prove crucial. Additionally, anyone with dashcam footage from the vicinity is asked to review it and share any relevant clips with police.”
