This impressive, high-quality shopping centre is built on a one-acre site of a former bus depot and was carefully planned so as to retain the original, historical facade and maintain Green Street’s important cultural heritage.

Keen to create the ultimate shopping experience for visitors, the developers, ACR Investments, spent months planning and carefully sourced custom-made fixtures from across Europe, worked to create a sense of luxury within each store, focused on customer comfort and crowned the centre with a magnificent glass ceiling that spans the length of the mall, creating an open, airy ambience.

ACR Investments also prioritised making East as sustainable as possible, to the degree that it complies with stringent BREEAM requirements. Eco-friendly features such as solar panels, power saving air-conditioning, tinted double-glazed shop-fronts, LED lights to all areas, extensive insulation to all external walls etc help to preserve the environment.

East Shopping Centre offers beautiful surroundings and quality boutique stores that suit all tastes, and is anchored by an authentic Arabian Souk, designed to mirror bustling marketplaces found around the world, with retailers selling jewellery, shoes, childrenswear, a variety of fashion and much more. East also has a selection of restaurants and a Food Court specialising in international cuisine, set in a comfortable first floor location with a large terrace overlooking the Centre.
