A chilling murder investigation in Woolwich, southeast London, has taken a new turn as authorities charge a second teenager in connection with the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor.
Fatal Shooting on Lord Warwick Street
On the afternoon of April 2, emergency responders found Eghosa with critical injuries on Lord Warwick Street at approximately 3:40 p.m. Despite immediate medical attention, the young boy tragically died at the scene.
Two Boys Now Charged with Murder
Previously, a 16-year-old from Romford faced murder charges for the incident. Police have now charged a second suspect, a 15-year-old boy arrested just yesterday. Both teenagers remain unnamed due to their underage status.
The 15-year-old is scheduled to appear at Barkingside Youth Court as authorities continue their investigation into the case.
Ongoing Investigations and Other Arrests
Several other individuals arrested in early April have been released on bail while inquiries persist. These include:
- A 19-year-old man held on suspicion of murder
- A 46-year-old man arrested for allegedly assisting an offender
- A 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, and an 18-year-old man linked to the case
