13-Year-Old Noah Campbell Dies in Flitwick Collision
The Flitwick community reels after a devastating crash claims the life of 13-year-old Noah Campbell. The teenage boy was fatally injured on Friday night in Bedfordshire when a car collided with him and two other boys—two on a bicycle and one on a scooter.

Noah’s Family Shares Heartbreaking Tribute
Noah’s family expressed profound grief, describing his death as leaving “a hole in our lives that will remain forever.” In an emotional statement released by Bedfordshire Police, they remembered Noah as “fun, bright, handsome, athletic, and incredibly well-liked.”
They emphasized, “Above all else, he cherished spending time with his friends and family; they were the heart of his world.”

Multi-Sport Star and Adored Son
The family highlighted Noah’s impressive athletic talent, noting his passion for football—playing for several local teams—alongside excellence in rugby, cricket, and athletics. Beyond organised sports, Noah thrived on staying active, relishing challenges at the gym and adventures at the bike park.
Some of his happiest moments were spent attending Liverpool FC and Luton Town FC matches with his father, creating cherished memories.
The family also extended thanks for the outpouring of support during this heartbreaking time.
Serious Injuries and Charges in Connection to Crash
One of the other boys remains hospitalised in serious condition, while the third sustained serious injuries but has since been discharged, according to police.
Two suspects have been charged in connection with the incident. Jamie Fountain, 24, faces multiple charges including causing death by careless driving, aggravated by driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He also faces charges related to serious injuries caused to the other boys, failure to stop and report the accident, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Ellie Ireland, 23, from Ampthill, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Both Fountain and Ireland have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Luton Magistrates’ Court.
Police Appeal for Respect and Restraint
Detective Sergeant Shona Searle of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire serious collision investigation unit addressed the community’s shock, stating, “This incident has sent shockwaves through the small community of Flitwick and the surrounding area.”
She confirmed a continued police presence near the crash site to provide reassurance and urged the public to refrain from speculation, emphasizing the victims’ families’ request for privacy during this painful period.
