He later added: “Bieber update: He’s decided to show up. Is the arena curfew 11pm? Crowd were booing and last tube is around midnight.”
Meanwhile, Joanne Dorken of MTV News tweeted that there were “literally kids in tears on the tube after parents made them leave to get last trains”, calling it “heartbreaking stuff”.
The Sun‘s Jane Moore added: “Bieber came on TWO hours late at o2 tonight. What insult to young fans, falling asleep/crying and having to leave after one song cos so late.”
The O2’s official Twitter account posted at 10.36pm: “Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologizes for the lateness of his show.
“Sorry to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight. The Tube will still be running when the show finishes.”
Bieber recently celebrated turning 19 in the capital, but branded it his “worst birthday” and hit out at the “weak ass club” he attended.
The nightclub insisted that it had turned him away for bringing along underage friends such as Will Smith’s 14-year-old son Jaden Smith and 17-year-old Ella Paige Clark, claims which Bieber denied.
